Kim&Kang Martial Arts PROGRAM
Hap Ki Do |
Hap Ki Do is the Korean art of coordinated power. Hap is coordination; Ki denotes the essence of power; and Do means art or method. Unlike Tae Kwon Do, Hap Ki Do deals with close contact self-defense using wrist-twisting, joint-locks, strikes, throws, breaks, kicks, punches, grapples, rolls, and falling techniques. The Hap Ki Do practitioner uses circular patterns to gain momentum for executing the techniques in a natural an free-flowing manner. |
